Amelia lands on the ledge, right in front of the human. She’d much rather land someplace higher - she has to look up to meet the glowing eyes, and it grates on her nerves - but even if the shade can supposedly go right through her, instinct tells her to guard the prey. Her tail fans behind her and she puffs up, wings spread to their full span.
“Don’t play innocent,” she says, hands on her hips, chin thrust out. “This is my prey and you’re trespassing.”
