He's just feeding me this line about how he was busy.
He's transformed back though, and said the transformation was slow, and that had something to do with him being gone so long.

Can that happen?

Transformations are usually gradual, but what happened at the mountain is a special case. I think I spent more time in a hole than it took me to change back to the form the fog god gave me. Even if it had nothing to do with the mountain, it's unlikely that a transformation happened over two weeks of clear weather. Some hunters had a potion that made us sick and caused our bodies to go out of control, but that was over six months ago. Most of them died back then.

No, it sounds like it's an excuse! A really lame excuse! I can't believe he would ignore our messages, no matter how busy he was.

I hadn't heard of that before. That's a terrifying thought.
Anyone ever figure out what was in the potion?

That's pretty much what I'd figure, too.
I can't believe he would ignore our messages for that long either. Kinda wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt though.

Maybe he would be more willing to tell you what happened. He might just be worried that I'll try to do something stupid if he tells me.

It was awful. I don't how they made it exactly but I think it was a comibnation of poison and night god magic. The only cure was time. Anyway, I don't think that's the case here. I'll ask him, but you should keep trying, too.

I've seen the locals call upon his power to cast spells, and some of his priests even managed to temporarily cure us. I'd say that proves he exists. I haven't seen proof of the day god's power yet.

I've hardly heard anyone talk about the day and night god's.

You live in Bavan, right? The people here aren't very religious. Anyway, just because the fog god and the fourth god are the most dominant, doesn't mean there can't be other powers in this place. The priests weren't trying to trick us. They really wanted to help, but their magic just wasn't powerful enough.

Separate groups. Those who tried to kill us were from the town of Rota. They don't didn't really mix up with others. I'm not sure where the priests that tried to cure us came from. Maybe all over the place.

so i guess like with most religions the night god has it's good followers and it's murderous ones.
too bad the god doesn't seem too picky about who it lends it's power to.

From what I know, gods don't personally care what you do with their power. If you can access it, the way it's used is up to you.
