That sucks. Nice that they tried to help, but I wish it had worked.

So was it two separate groups that worshiped the night god? One that tried to save us in one that tried to kill us? Or was that the same group?

Separate groups. Those who tried to kill us were from the town of Rota. They don't didn't really mix up with others.

I'm not sure where the priests that tried to cure us came from. Maybe all over the place.

so i guess like with most religions the night god has it's good followers and it's murderous ones.
too bad the god doesn't seem too picky about who it lends it's power to.

From what I know, gods don't personally care what you do with their power. If you can access it, the way it's used is up to you.
